Summer Camp 2023
Abacus Montessori is pleased to offer summer camp programs for children aged 1.5 to 9 years old. Our summer camps strive to offer children a relaxed and fun environment to learn and grow. For our 20th year running, Abacus will offer a summer camp that incorporates exciting learning opportunities with a holistic program that focuses on art, music, movement, and play. Tiny Tots: Ages 1.5 - 2.5

Emphasis on physical play
With access to a fenced in outdoor playground, indoor gym, and regular field trips through local hiking trails, Abacus Montessori summer camps focus on providing children with opportunities for unstructured physical play.
Weekly themes
Children in the Tiny Tots and Junior programs take part in weekly themed activities where they can learn about a topic holistically through books, art, dance, and music. Themes include: under the sea, scientists in the making, and around the world.
Hot lunches
At Abacus, we pride ourselves on offering hot, nutritious lunches to all our students. This is optional for children in the Senior program.
Specialized camps
Children enrolled in the Senior summer program have the opportunity to choose from specialized half-day programs including: sports, drama, coding, art, and cooking in addition to regular summer camp activities.

Spirit days
Summer fun would not be complete without Spirit Days! Each week, children across the camp participate in a silly celebration. Whether it's whacky hair day, karaoke time, or a movie afternoon, we mark each week with something special.
Experienced teachers
Our camp leaders are all fully trained early childhood educators or Montessori teachers. They bring years of experience to the program that helps every child feel included and welcome.
